YG was born in 1990 as Craig Jackson in Compton, California.His name YG stands for "Young Gangster."He joined the Piru Bloods gang in 2006 at age 16. In 2012 shots were fired during the filming of one of his independent music videos, which lead to the police to come shut down and close the set. This did not stop him as he relocated and finished filming. In 2015 he was shot one time, that gunshot had created three separate wounds in the hip at a recording studio in Studio City, California. Authorities said that he was "very uncooperative" when asked about the incident. His manager later revealed that his injuries were not life-threatening and said he was "fine" and recovering. He returned to the studio the next day.  Which motivated him to finish his project. In an interview with revealed that his second studio album would be called Still Krazy and it would be released in 2016 through North Star Ent. He teased with multiple singles from the album in 2015, including another one of his instant-classics with Hussle and even adding 50 cent to the mix. Tiny Pusha has his own clothing line, and at one point with friends Mustard, and Haze owned a small group/label of their own. They sold it to ManMan early on buying in to his vision well before the collapse of North Star. This suave business move finally kicking back with a small partnership percentage, he's now looking to try and take it to the next level.
