Katch

Born Chocise "Chico/Chuck" Katchins,  Compton, California, a low-income crime-ridden city, situated south of downtown Los Angeles. He is one of the last few living Katchins' siblings, along with his youngest sister Charise Katchins. Through his father, Chico is of African American, Mexican and Native American descent. He grew up in a primarily Crip gang neighborhood known as Santana Blocc, although he grew up to become a member of the Bloods. His parents where both Crips, which constantly has him calling his family"dysfunctional".

Chuck endured many hardships in his adolescence. At the age of 7, he was placed in foster care. At 13, one of his older brothers, was shot at a gas station and died soon thereafter. When he was 15, he was removed from the foster care system and moved in with his mother, and he initially had a tumultuous relationship with her. He attended Compton High School, where most students who were affiliated with gangs were Crips. However, his older half-brother attended Centennial High School and was a notable member of the Cedar Block Piru Bloods. In high school, Taylor was involved in sports including basketball and track. By the early 2000s, Katch had become heavily involved in "street life", selling drugs and associating with gangs.  Which is where Katch's rise to stardom came, he had become a neighborhood hustler who everyone knew. Once they heard he wanted to rap for Dr. Dre everyone wanted to see little Chico make it. It all seemed to come to a halt when he got shot for the first time. But while recovering in the hospital from gunshot wounds he incurred, He told his brother to go out and buy all of the classic hip-hop albums. Over the course of five months, he studied all of the various influential rap albums and developed a strategy to turn himself into a rapper that could not be denied. That's when he began to pump music out like a madman hiting accolades such as, multiple platinum, multi-platinum, and gold albums, records, and mixtapes.

On top of his music success he also has multiple sponsors from clothing brands, even alcoholic beverages. Even dabbling in his own clothing label, and opening "Trees By The Game" which sells "Rapper Weed" and all of the most potent and exotic strains. When asked on the name, he replied "It was simple, this is the type of s**t you see your favorite artists puffing on. So this is some trees given to you by the rap game." He also has a 9 year old daughter who he spends majority of his off time with.
