Born Dontrell Graves, in Baton Rouge, LA. Grew up with his father in prison, and his mother struggling to maintain. Droop began hustling and helping out the "neighborhood heroes". The thugs names Trell Droop because of how slow he'd answer, or how long it would take him to say something. It reminded them of the old Droopy cartoons. Droop began rapping around the time got his nickname, at the age of nine. The drug dealers and thugs who looked out for him, also had began putting him in the studio as a gimmick. He was known as Youngboy, then also the 38Baby. He began building a small fanbase in the south all the way until his teens. He had been in and out of detention centers, and even in the county jail. But that did not stop him or the life he was living and rapping about, until it finally caught up with him. He was arrested for an out-of-state warrant and two counts of attempted second-degree murder at the age of 17. After serving time Droop began reaching out to some old connects and got back to the hustle. This time focusing only on the music side of things.
